Ingredients

  • 150g sugar
  • 200g almond powder
  • 50g cornstarch
  • 20cl soy or almond cream
  • 2 tbsp neutral oil (and a little more for the glaze)
  • 2 puff pastry sheets
  • 1 lucky charm (trinket)

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar, almond powder, and cornstarch, then incorporate the liquids.
  2. Once homogeneous, place the frangipane between two puff pastry sheets with the lucky charm hidden inside.
  3. For the glaze, brush with neutral oil and create some decorative patterns.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius.
