Plant-based pastry cream that is impossible to mess up

  • 2 cups of plant-based milk

  • 1/2 cup of sugar

  • 1/3 cup of cornstarch

  • 1/3 cup of water

  • Optional: 1 vanilla bean

      Bring the plant-based milk to a boil

      In a separate bowl, mix the sugar, cornstarch, and water

      Once the milk is hot, incorporate the cornstarch mixture

      Stir constantly until the mixture thickens

      Remove from heat and let it cool
